About me:

I am a PGA Professional based in the city of Bristol in England. After playing to a good standard of amateur golf including at college level I decided to turn Professional at the age of 19. Although I still compete when possible I dedicate the majority of my time to developing my coaching skill set. This enables me to provide an exceptional learning experience for all my clients which allows the individual to quickly develop their golfing skills.

My Coaching Philosophy:

What I believe makes me an effective golf coach is my ability to analyze any swing and be able to identify the areas that are not functioning correctly. From there I am able to devise a strategy to address the issue that is simple and easy for the player to work with.

Every golfer learns differently. It is therefore essential to be able assess a player in a number of ways so that together we can find the correct solution.

I believe a full assessment is essential for each player, biomechanical screening, analysis of swing, short game, putting, identifies which area needs work which enables me to   create a customized programme for each player which will ensure development and progression in performance.

This is just the start for me and I will continue developing my skill set to become the best PGA Professional Coach I can be.

What is TPI:

TPI is the world's leading educational organization dedicated to the study of how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing.

Having a full understanding of a player’s biomechanical makeup is essential to development. My qualifications allow me to carry out a simple 12 point physical screen that identifies areas of limited mobility within the golfer’s body. I can then analyze the golf swing and assess how these physical limitations may be adversely affecting their golf swing.

This enables the player to achieve their goals quickly whilst ensuring the prevention of injury.
